Nice article about Pinnacles National Monument, one of my favorite outdoor destinations in the greater Bay Area.
It's about a 2.5 hour drive, each way, from my house, so it's a long day trip, but if the weather is accomodating, it's one of my favorites.
I've always hoped to see a California Condor there, but I've visited 5 times now without success.
Still, there's always next time!
